Adjusting the DVD MULTI Playback Mode

(Also see page 22)

1. Press ON SCREEN SET.

2, 8, 4, and 6 buttons on the 10 keys work as % / ﬁ / @ / # for

ON SCREEN operations.

2. Press any one of % / ﬁ / @ / #.

The MAIN MENU appears on the TV.

3. Press % / ﬁ to move to “SOURCE.”

4. Press @ / # to select “DVD MULTI.”

5. Press % / ﬁ to move

to “SOUND

CONTROL,” then press @ / #.

The SOUND CONTROL menu appears.

6. Press % / ﬁ to move

to “SURROUND

LEVEL,” then press

@ / #.

The SURROUND LEVEL

menu appears.

7. Press % / ﬁ to move to the item you want to

set or adjust, then press @ / #.

On this adjustment menus, you can do the following:

“CENTER LEVEL”: Adjust the center speaker output level.

“REAR L LEVEL”: Adjust the left rear speaker output

level.

“REAR R LEVEL”: Adjust the right rear speaker output

level.

8. When you finish, press ON SCREEN EXIT

repeatedly until the menu disappears from the

TV.

Adjusting the Tone (Also see page 10)

1. Press ON SCREEN SET.

2, 8, 4, and 6 buttons on the 10 keys work as % / ﬁ / @ / # for

ON SCREEN operations.

2. Press any one of % / ﬁ / @ / #.

The MAIN MENU appears on the TV.

3. Press % / ﬁ to move to “SOUND

CONTROL,” then press @ / #.

The SOUND CONTROL menu appears.

4. Press % / ﬁ to move

to “TONE

CONTROL,” then

press @ / #.

The TONE CONTROL menu

appears.

5. Press % / ﬁ / @ / # to adjust the tone as you

want.

@ / # : Select the frequency ranges — 100 Hz (bass) and

10 kHz (treble).

% / ﬁ : Adjust the frequency levels.

6. When you finish, press ON SCREEN EXIT

repeatedly until the menu disappears from the

TV.

Setting the Basic Setting Items (Also see

pages 11 and 12)

1. Press ON SCREEN SET.

2, 8, 4, and 6 buttons on the 10 keys work as % / ﬁ / @ / # for

ON SCREEN operations.

2. Press any one of % / ﬁ / @ / #.

The MAIN MENU appears on the TV.

3. Press % / ﬁ to move

to “SETTING,” then

press @ / #.

The SETTING menu appears.

4. Press % / ﬁ to move to the item you want to

set or adjust, then press @ / #.

On the SETTING menu, you can do the following:

“CENTER SPK”: Select an appropriate center speaker size.

“REAR SPK”: Set the rear speaker information.

“DELAY TIME”: Select an appropriate delay time. *

Note:

Only valid for “PRO LOGIC.” Not displayed when “REAR SPK”

is set to “NO.”

5. When you finish, press ON SCREEN EXIT

repeatedly until the menu disappears from the

TV.
