 The content of the menu is different depending on the broadcasting company.

 For details, consult your broadcasting company

 The language shown in the menu may differ to the “Language” set for the TV.

Available for setting power supply for the aerial, and upgrading the tuner software,

etc.

 Please read “Dolby Digital output from the DIGITAL AUDIO OUT terminal” (P. 57) before setting.

To watch pay-TV digital channels, use the Conditional Access Module menu.

This function can only be used when pay-TV can be received in your region.

 When the Conditional Access Module etc. is

inserted after subscribing to the broadcasting

company, this function is available.  “Watch pay-

TV digital channels” (P. 8)

You can upgrade the tuner software as newer versions become available. Normally set to “Auto”.

 This occurs at midnight when

the TV’s power is off.

 Banner Duration: Select the display time for channel information (2 sec / 5 sec / 8 sec)

 When JVC or the broadcasting station informs you of the new software, download it as follows.

1 Select “Manual”



Select “In standby” instead of “Yes” if you want to upgrade the software automatically when the TV is turned off.

 Enter PIN code if needed.



If the TV has upgrade to the latest tuner software, the message “Search completed. No new software found” will appear.
